Jeremy Schwartz, Executive Director of World Possible and Bill Graff, Founder and Executive Director of ET Learns

In accordance with ET Learns’ mission “to provide modern educational technology to students and teachers in the most underserved parts of Ethiopia”, we are excited to announce a new affiliation with World Possible, a non-profit organization committed to providing modern teaching tools to students and teachers around the world. Founded in 2009 with the mission of “Bridging the Digital Divide to Deliver Educational Opportunity”, World Possible now has chapters in the United States, Guatemala, Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Namibia.

This new affiliation will allow ET Learns to utilize World Possible’s “RACHEL” (Remote Area Community Hotspot for Education and Learning) software in our Ethiopian learning labs. RACHEL is designed to give students and teachers access to digital educational content, such as textbooks, Khan Academy videos, Wikipedia articles, and more, even in situations where internet access is limited.

Check out worldpossible.org and etlearns.org to learn more about the shared vision of these two organizations.
