ET Learns founders Bill and Betty Graff are currently in Ethiopia visiting our Learning Labs and overseeing our partnerships with local Ethiopian organizations.

Not only is ET Learns dedicated to helping students receive education through technology, we also believe in helping students get ahead through any other sustainable and relevant solutions.

For example, ET Learns partners with organizations such as local business Felek to give our students access to durable notebooks they'll use in their studies. Together with Felek, we've provided over 7,000 exercise books to a school in Wolaita.

Bill and Betty have been traveling to Ethiopia since they served in the Peace Corps there together. Their passion for helping Ethiopian students started during that time, and continues today, almost 50 years later.

The Graffs have also partnered with Felek to give our schoolteachers and children solar lights. These lights are sustainable, and will be reused by students and teachers in each school.

Since electric power is never a certainty in Ethiopia, the solar lights will help students and teachers keep preparing and studying during nighttime hours.

Teachers receiving the solar lights expressed their gratitude, and we're grateful to partner with Felek to implement a useful and sustainable solution to those who need it most.
